Impacts of the Residential School

This is an informational 1 or 2 day workshop designed for professionals, employers, agency employees, community members who want to know more about the legacy of impacts from the residential school experience.  The Truth and Reconciliation Commission has named both the cultural genocide of the schools, and the fact this is a Canadian problem.

As a challenge for day to day living, it is important to understand the enormous individual and generational impact this has created for survivors and their families, for they are now students, employees, community members and leaders.

This workshop is both experiential and full of historical information, as well as offering tools for shifting relationships in the workplace and community to one of mutual caring.
