This is an informational 1 or 2 day workshop designed for professionals, employers, agency employees, community members who want to know more about the inter-generational impacts from the residential school experience. This workshop applies a trauma-informed lens combined with attachment and grief information to show the four traumatized generations created by the forced removal of children from their families.
The Truth and Reconciliation Commission has named the schools as cultural genocide.
The workshop is both experiential and didactic, and full of historical information. It offers tools for shifting relationships in the workplace and community to one of mutual reconciliation.
